About FarLit

FarLit – an abbreviation of Faroese Literature - promotes Faroese literature on the international book market.

FarLit is a government-funded office. Our role is to raise awareness of Faroese literature and to promote its distribution. Foreign publishers of Faroese books can apply to FarLit for translations subsidies. Authors, publishers and organizers of literary events can apply for support for Faroese authors travelling abroad in order to promote their work.
