Trygvi Danielsen is an award winning Faroese writer, musician, and filmmaker. He has released two books of poetry, two full length albums, and one feature film in addition to several smaller works. Since 2017, he has performed a tonne of concerts as Silvurdrongur (Silverkid), a spoken word/hiphop pseudonym which is now synonymous with his Christian name. He is known for witty and humorous lyrics that find joy in poking sensitive subject matter. In 2021, he wrote and directed his debut feature film, 111 góðir dagar (111 good days), a Lynchian dark comedy about becoming an adult and learning how to take responsibility for your actions. The same year, he co-starred in the internationally multi-award winning documentary, Skál. Trygvi holds a bachelor degree in Faroese language and literature in addition to one in creative writing.
