New in Italy: La lotta sul prato

"Stríðið um góða grasið" (La lotta sul prato) by Bárður Oskarsson has just been published in Italy, and this is the first of Oskarsson's books to be published in Italy. It was first published in 2012 by BFL and won the White Raven in 2013 from the International Youth Library. The book has also been published in the UK, Norway and Denmark, and rights have been sold to Iceland, Bulgaria and Korea. The book tells the story about the rabbits and the dogs who battle each other to get access to the good grass. The dogs chase the rabbits because that's what dogs do. And then they also wee and poo on the good grass whereas the rabbits just want to hop and play on the soft grass. Silvia Canavero has translated into Italien, and Errekappa Edizioni is the publisher.
