KOKS wins 1st Prize at the Gourmand cookery books awards 2023
On Saturday 27th May, 'KOKS: Faroe Islands Flavour' was awarded First Prize for Cookery Book Photography at the ceremony held in the Swedish city of Umeå.
Congratulations to photographer Claes Bech Poulsen for this recognition of his amazing work. 'KOKS: Faroe Islands Flavour' also came 2nd in the Best Nordic Cookbook category. The prize certificate recognises the work of the team behind the book which features a wide selection of the dishes created by Poul Andrias Ziska, the photographs by Claes Bech Poulsen, the words by Tim Ecott, the graphic design by Peter Dam and the Faroese translations by Jonhard Mikkelsen, as well as the work of our Faroese publisher - Sprotin.
The coffe table book takes the reader on a culinary round trip to all the 18 islands and includes lots of exciting recipes from the Head Chef. Read more about the book HERE.
