New Novel
“Lost Roots” is the title of the new novel by Ingun Christensen.
It is a story about a journalist called Báralda, who inherits a grandmother she didn’t know that she had, and starts looking into her family history. She discovers a complex story about class differences, secrets and violence for six generations.
Ingun Christensen won the writing contest issued by The Faroese Bookseller’s association to write the best contemporary novel. Ingun has previously written children’s and YA books and short stories.
